Steve Miley has won numerous awards from Technical Analyst Magazine, including "Best Independent Fixed Income" and "Best FX Research." As a Member of the Society of Technical Analysts, Steve holds a Masters Degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford University.

Steve’s previous positions include director of the FX Technical Analysis Research Strategy team at Credit Suisse; and 15 years with Merrill Lynch — 10 years as a technical analyst and five years in fixed-income sales.

As lead writer for the U.K. StockBrokers.com Annual Review, Steve exhaustively tests top online brokerages in the U.K. and analyses their offerings for both everyday and advanced investors. In addition to his work on U.K. share dealing research for StockBrokers.com, Steve is the founder of The Market Chartist, where he provides market research for institutional clients. Steve also contributes daily market editorial for FXExplained.co.uk.

Steve lives near Cambridge in the U.K. with his wife and three sons.
